Last Google Day - Part2

Today I worked the whole class period on fixing up the structure of my final presentation. Unfortunately I wasn't able to actually put it together, but all I have to do is join everything, as I already have the script but I am missing the pictures.

4.Copacabana Beach

Copacabana is a neighborhood located in the city, and it is mostly famous by its beach. It has 4 km of beach and it is one of the most famous beaches in the world, famous for its black and white wave patterned sidewalk. The beach begins at Posto Dois or in english, lifeguard watchtower two, until Posto Seis, or watchtower six. It is not only beautiful, but it also has a history to it, an example would be Fort Copacabana which was built in 1914. A curiosity would be that there never really was a lifeguard watcher in Posto Seis. The neighborhood is full of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. One of the most famous events it has would be the New Year's Eve celebration, where over 1 million people go to. Although, if you have an aversion to cold water, then I wouldn't suggest you to go into the water.

3.Porcão Rio’s

Porcão Rio’s is a considered the best churrascaria there is in the city. It is set in the Parque do Flamengo with a stunning view of the Sugarloaf Mountain. Many people claim that it is an eating extravaganza, and I can assure you that it is one of the most delicious meals I have had. The restaurant itself belongs to a chain of restaurants famous in Rio, you can find one of the restaurants in Flamengo where you have the view of the Sugarloaf and the other restaurant is found in Barra da Tijuca.

2.Sugarloaf Mountain

The Sugarloaf Mountain is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro at the mouth of the Guanabara Bay on a peninsula that stucks out into the Atlantic Ocean and rises 396 meters (1,299 ft) above the harbor. Its name comes from a reference to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined loaf sugar. To reach its peak, passengers have to take two cable cars. The first cable car ascends to Morro da Urca which is 220 m high and the second one takes you to the Pão de Açúcar (name in Portugues for the loaf). There is also several extra activities offered t you in the loaf, you can rock climb and take helicopter rides of the whole city. If that wasn't enough, you can even feed little monkeys found wandering around the loaf.

1.Christ the Redeemer

Christ the Redeemer is a statue of Jesus located in Parque Nacional da Tijuca, Alto da Boa Vista - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Visit hours are Monday-Friday from 9pm-5pm, it is closed on Saturday and Sunday. If desired, you can even have weddings in at the Christ. It is considered the 5th largest statue of Jesus in the world, it is also considered the largest Art Deco statue in the world. It is normally illuminated at night by white lights, yet in October the lights change to pink to support breast cancer awareness, it was once illuminated by yellow and green lights to support the Brazil national soccer team playing in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Constructed by Heitor da Silva Costa and Paul Landowski, consturction was between 1922 and 1931.

Tech Tool Evaluation

3 things I liked about this tech tool:
- It works as reminders for yourself.
- You can choose to make it either private or public.
- You can change the account for future letters. It's okay if you want to change your email later on.
- You can write the email in different languages.

3 things I don't like about this tech tool:
- You can only change the email address if you have an account.
- You can't change the date the letter is supposed to arrive or its content.
- You have to be a registered user to send emails to people other than yourself.

2 ways I can use this tool:
- Send reminders for myself, when a project is due, when I have a party, when I have to congratulate my friend for her birthday, etc.
- Send birthday cards and wishes in advanced, so I won't be embarrassed if I forget to congratulate the person on the actual birthday date.

3 things I like about this tech tool:
- It is an interesting way of learning new things.
- It gives the learners a different perspective when approaching the new subject.
- You can share your storyboard with other people.
- There are shortcuts that you can use while making your storyboard.

3 things I don't like about this tech tool:
- I found it a little hard to understand.
- You can't add any color to the characters you use in your story board.
- If you want any kind of upgrades in your account, you have to pay for them.

2 ways I can use this tool:
- While giving a presentation and trying to explain a new subject to my classmates.
- It is an easier way to communicate with others and making them understand the message you are trying to get across.
